Our Mission

Traveling.com.pk publishes original, practical travel information for Pakistan and for Pakistanis travelling domestically. We help visitors find accurate contact details, heritage site information, and safety tips.

Who Writes This Site

All guides are researched and written by Irfan Mirza, who created and edits Traveling.com.pk. Irfan has travelled across Pakistan's cities, northern areas, and Punjab heritage corridor for years, and builds this site around the questions travellers actually search for — terminal contacts, monument timings, licence verification. Where first-hand knowledge ends, we say so: contact numbers, fares, and opening hours are always published with a "confirm on the day" note rather than presented as guaranteed facts.

What We Are Not

  • We are not a travel agency and do not sell tickets, tours, or packages.
  • We are not affiliated with Humrahi, Bilal, Rajput, or any bus operator mentioned on this site.
  • We do not guarantee prices, phone numbers, or schedules — always verify with operators directly.

Content Standards

  • Guides are written for human readers, not search engines. We do not publish bulk AI-generated posts.
  • Landmark photos are Wikimedia Commons files with captions. Illustrative scenes (bus addas, small-town highways, snacks) are labelled as such — never as Wikimedia.
  • Contact pages include verification steps and licence-check resources instead of stale phone numbers presented as fact.
  • Every guide carries an author byline and a last-updated date; when regulations or widely reported details change, we update the page and the date.

Sources & Verification

  • Phone numbers appear only when sourced — from operator directories, official listings, or published contact pages — and always with a verification note.
  • Fare and fee ranges are labelled as ballparks. Where an official source exists (Walled City of Lahore Authority for Lahore Fort, operator websites for bus companies), we point to it.
  • Government rules (cash limits, licensing) cite the responsible authority — SBP, FBR, DTS, MoRA — so readers can check the primary source.

Corrections

Found an error? Contact us with the page URL and the correction — we review all reports and update the page when a correction is verified.

Update Process

  • Every guide displays its last-updated date in the byline; the date changes only when the content materially changes.
  • Contact-detail and fare guides are re-checked when readers report changes or when we re-travel a route — user-submitted corrections are verified before publishing.
  • Regulatory guides (cash limits, licensing) are reviewed against the responsible authority's publications when rules change.
  • Retired content is redirected or marked gone rather than left to rot: the site publishes roughly two dozen maintained guides, not a decaying archive.
