- Written itinerary with hotel names and star ratings — not "3-star hotel" as a category
- Flight numbers and dates for air packages
- What is excluded (visa fees, transport to departure city, meals)
- Cancellation and refund terms in PKR amounts, not percentages of an unstated total
Red Flags That End the Conversation
- No licence displayed in the office or offered when asked
- Prices far below market with pressure to pay the same day
- WhatsApp-only contact with no registered company name on receipts
- Payment demanded into a personal Easypaisa/JazzCash account
- "Visa guaranteed" claims — no agency can guarantee a visa outcome

Before accepting any Hunza/Swat/Murree package, price the components yourself. A five-day Hunza trip for two typically breaks down roughly as: transport (hired 4x4 with driver or seats on public coaches — see our KKH guide for realistic costs), PKR 3,000–8,000/night guesthouses, and modest meal costs. If a package quote is far below the sum of its parts, either the hotels aren't what the brochure says or something else is being cut.
